COVE Collection — Signature

Integrated handle fronts
with warm architectural
restraint.

COVE is ORLO.Haus’s signature front collection, designed around a sculpted integrated pull that removes applied hardware while preserving a tactile, functional grip.

Clean enough for modern architecture. Warm enough for real homes. COVE creates a refined handleless kitchen with depth, material presence, and quiet detail.

Available for selected Sektion® System and Core System projects.

Design Story

A handleless kitchen
should still feel human.

Many handleless kitchens become too flat, too cold, or too dependent on hardware tricks. COVE was designed to solve that problem.

The integrated pull is carved into the front itself, creating a natural place for the hand without adding external handles. The result is clean and architectural, but still tactile.

COVE gives the kitchen quiet lines, warm material depth, and a detail you feel every day.

The goal is not to remove detail. The goal is to make the detail part of the front.

What Makes COVE Different

More refined than a flat front.
Warmer than a push-to-open kitchen.

A plain flat front is simple, but it can feel one-dimensional. Applied pulls add function, but they can interrupt the lines. Push-to-open keeps the surface clean, but not every client wants to press on every drawer and door. COVE creates another path: a clean integrated-handle front with a sculpted grip built into the design.
01

Compared to a flat front

COVE adds depth, shadow, and tactile detail while keeping the kitchen minimal.

02

Compared to applied pulls

COVE removes visual hardware and creates a quieter, more architectural look.

03

Compared to push-to-open

COVE keeps the handleless look while preserving a physical grip.

04

Compared to basic J-pull doors

COVE is designed as a complete collection with finish, grain, panel, and system logic — not just a generic routed profile.

Signature Detail

The integrated pull is the signature.

COVE is built around a sculpted integrated pull detail. The profile creates a clean shadow line and a comfortable place to grip the front, reducing the need for external handles. This detail gives the kitchen a calm, uninterrupted appearance while keeping daily use intuitive.

    Sculpted grip

A shaped pull detail designed to be felt, not just seen.

  2. 02

    Clean shadow line

The profile creates visual depth and separation between fronts.

  3. 03

    No applied hardware

The front itself becomes the handle, keeping the kitchen clean and architectural.

  4. 04

    Material presence

In wood finishes, the profile shows the thickness, grain, and tactile quality of the material.

  5. 05

    Consistent design logic

Handle direction, drawer orientation, and tall door treatment are planned as part of the kitchen design.

Recommended Finishes

COVE is strongest in
warm natural materials and quiet matte finishes.

The COVE profile works especially well when the material has depth. In white oak, the profile feels warm and architectural. In walnut, it feels richer and more dramatic. In matte paint or Fenix, it becomes quieter and more minimal.

Design Rules & Grain Direction

COVE works best when the
details are planned.

COVE is simple at first glance, but the final result depends on the details: handle direction, grain orientation, drawer rhythm, reveals, panels, toe kicks, and appliance integration. ORLO.Haus helps plan these details so the kitchen feels intentional.
COVE walnut kitchen — grain detail
  1. 01

    Handle direction

The integrated pull direction should be consistent and intuitive across drawers, doors, tall fronts, and appliance panels.

  2. 02

    Drawer grain direction

For wood kitchens, drawer fronts often work best with horizontal grain, creating continuous lines across the cabinet run.

  3. 03

    Tall door grain direction

Tall doors often work best with vertical grain, giving pantry walls and appliance panels a more architectural feeling.

  4. 04

    Reveals and shadow lines

Consistent reveals are important because COVE relies on clean lines and shadow detail.

  5. 05

    Panel alignment

Cover panels, appliance panels, and fillers should align with the overall kitchen rhythm.

  6. 06

    Toe kick treatment

Toe kicks should support the design direction and avoid looking like an afterthought.

  7. 07

    Appliance panels

Panel-ready appliances require careful review so the COVE look does not break around refrigerators, dishwashers, and tall units.

Best-Fit Projects

COVE is best for kitchens that need
calm lines and warm detail.

COVE is ideal when you want the kitchen to feel modern and architectural, but not cold. It works especially well in projects where natural materials, clean lines, and subtle tactile details matter.
