The IKEA®-Compatible Path

The practical foundation of IKEA®.
The design language of ORLO.Haus.

The Sektion® System is our IKEA®-compatible kitchen path. It uses IKEA® SEKTION® cabinet boxes as the structural platform and replaces the visible layer with ORLO.Haus fronts, panels, fillers, toe kicks, appliance panels, and finish details.

This gives you the practicality and accessibility of IKEA® cabinet boxes with a more refined, architectural result.

Instead of choosing standard IKEA® fronts, you choose a ORLO.Haus front collection and finish library.

IKEA® provides the platform. ORLO.Haus creates the finished kitchen expression.

A Premium System, Not a Hack

This is not about making IKEA® look less like IKEA®.
It is about creating a complete modern kitchen expression.

The Sektion® System is not a cheap shortcut or a random door replacement service. It is a coordinated front and panel system designed to make IKEA® SEKTION® work as the structural base for a refined modern kitchen. The difference is in the visible details: front profile, material quality, finish selection, panel layout, grain direction, toe kick treatment, appliance integration, and how the parts come together.

Design Details & Rules

The details make the kitchen
feel intentional.

A premium IKEA®-based kitchen depends on more than the door finish. The final result depends on how all visible parts work together. ORLO.Haus helps think through the details that make the difference.
Grain-matched COVE detailImage placeholder
  1. 01

    Grain direction

For wood kitchens, grain direction is planned intentionally. Drawers may use horizontal grain, while tall doors often use vertical grain depending on the design direction.

  2. 02

    Panel layout

Cover panels, appliance panels, island panels, and tall side panels should feel coordinated, not accidental.

  3. 03

    Fillers and reveals

Fillers should resolve gaps cleanly and maintain a consistent visual rhythm.

  4. 04

    Toe kicks

Toe kicks should support the design, not feel like an afterthought.

  5. 05

    Appliance integration

Panel-ready appliances require careful review of manufacturer specifications and IKEA® system limitations.

  6. 06

    Handle logic

For integrated handle collections like COVE, handle direction and front orientation must be planned consistently.

Pricing Guidance

Pricing depends on size, finish, and scope.

Every Sektion® System project is different. The final price depends on the number of fronts, panels, fillers, toe kicks, appliance panels, finish type, material, grain requirements, and delivery or installation scope.

A small kitchen with simple painted PLANE fronts will price differently than a large white oak COVE kitchen with tall panels, appliance panels, island panels, and grain-matched details.

For the most accurate quote, upload your IKEA® plan and select your preferred collection and finish direction.
